Radiographic Inspection

Industrial Radiography, Level I, Computed Radiography (CR)

Once you’ve completed Industrial Radiation Safety and have a bit of experience, you’ll want to take an ND3 course on one of the digital modalities, Computed Radiography. In this Level I course, we teach you about the specific techniques and methods to be successful and make images using a CR system.

Many technicians who have received training elsewhere have a tendency to ‘eyeball it’ and just guess at crucial factors that affect the quality of the finished image. Don’t be that technician. Learn how to set up and take great radiographs from the beginning so that the end product is sellable.

Subjects Covered:

  1. Introduction and Basic Principles of Radiography
  2. Fundamental Properties of Matter
